We will not be having picture day tomorrow, January 28th. Spring portraits and class pictures will be rescheduled for a later date.

Announcement!

Hello Polar Bear Families! We are not expecting any bad weather tomorrow, just some pretty cold temperatures. We will have school tomorrow and will start on time. Please dress your student warmly, and send jackets/coats, as the temperatures will be low. We will utilize the same car loop procedures for Elementary that we have used on the other days with extremely low temps. Have your child make it quickly into the building and they will be greeted by staff. Please make it a priority for your student to have regular attendance and to be on time to maximize their learning. We appreciate your help in this matter! Looking forward to a great week in the Tundra!

Say hello to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the Frost ISD app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better. Parents/guardians check your email/texts for instructions to sign up and access new features.

Elementary Awards January 22nd

Due to unpredictable weather, Frost ISD will have a 10am start time, tomorrow, January 10th. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal schedule. Doors will open at 9:40am for student drop off. Breakfast will not be served tomorrow, as lunches begin at 10:25am. Please check back often, as changes may occur if weather patterns change. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our students and staff safe.

Out of abundance of caution for our students and staff and at the recommendation of NCEM, Frost ISD will be closed tomorrow. We will evaluate after a 2:00pm meeting on Thursday, regarding a decision for Friday. More information will be coming regarding athletic events that are scheduled. Please stay safe and warm!

Say hello to two-way messaging in the Frost ISD app! The same district app now offers class announcements and parent-teacher chat. Look for your personalized invitation to begin using this feature in our app after Jan 13.

I would like to provide a brief update regarding the upcoming storm. Currently, the uncertainty surrounding the storm's trajectory makes it challenging to make definitive decisions. We will have a follow-up call tonight at 9:30 PM with Eric Myers from Navarro County Emergency Management. Following that discussion, we will be better positioned to make informed decisions. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we manage this situation.

Winter Weather Update

Attention parents, we will not be having a Christmas program on Monday, December 16th, as previously mentioned on last month's newsletter. Mrs Calvin would like to look at doing a Spring event this year instead of a Christmas event, to give the students an opportunity to experience a differnet type of event. We look forward to giving our students a new experience this year! There will be more details to come on what exciting things she will be working with our students in the future. We can't wait to see all of our students dressed up next week for our Holiday Cheer Week! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!

Attention parents, we are having a PRACTICE lockdown drill this morning. It is practice only for safety reasons, to be sure staff and students know what to do in the event of a true emergency. There is no need to be alarmed and there is no real emergency. Thank your for understanding.

If you have RSVP’d for lunch on Thursday, and you have previously had your ID scanned into our Raptor system, please complete the pre-registration form and we will have your badge ready when you arrive.
Plan on arriving early if you have never had a visitor badge printed.
